Apologies and Updates: A Message From the Team

Dear Runners, Supporters, and Friends,

As we emerge from the quiet of winter and step into the promise of spring, we wanted to take a moment to extend our sincerest apologies for our absence over the past few months. We understand that many of you have been eagerly awaiting updates and preparations for the bi-annual Baldy Marathons. For that, we are truly sorry.

The truth is, this winter has presented us with unexpected challenges and setbacks that have regrettably led to the difficult decision to cancel this year's spring 100-mile challenge. We understand the disappointment and frustration this may cause, especially for those who have been looking forward to this event. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, but rather out of a commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, and staff.

Looking ahead, we are also evaluating the frequency of our events. While our original intention has been to host two challenges twice a year, we are considering the possibility of transitioning to just one annual event. This decision stems from a desire to ensure that each challenge receives the attention to detail and level of organization that our participants deserve. We understand that this potential change may bring mixed feelings, and we welcome your feedback and input as we navigate this decision.

Despite these challenges, we remain dedicated to our mission of fostering a community of passionate runners and outdoor enthusiasts. We are actively working behind the scenes to regroup, reorganize, and come back stronger than ever before. Your continued support and understanding mean the world to us, and we are committed to keeping you updated every step of the way.

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay connected with us through our social media channels and website for the latest news and updates. We are excited about the future and can't wait to reunite on the trails once again.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support.

Warm regards,

The Baldy Marathons Team
